IBRUTINIB 140mg 3 x daily in morning
Ibrutinib is indicated for the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma
ATENOL 50mg 1 x daily
Atenolol is used alone or together with other medicines (such as hydrochlorothiazide) to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
High blood pressure adds to the workload of the heart and arteries. If it continues for a long time, the heart and arteries may not function properly.1 Sept 2023
PERINDOPRIL ARGININE/AMLODIPINE 5/5mg REAPTAN 5/5 5mg 1 x daily
Perindopril arginine and amlodipine combination tablet is indicated as substitution therapy for the treatment of hypertension and/or stable coronary heart disease in patients already controlled with separate doses of perindopril and amlodipine, given concurrently at the same dose level.
EZETIMIMBE/SIMVASTATIN or VYTORIN 10/10mg 1 x daily – best at night for cholesterol
Ezetimibe and simvastatin combination is used together with a proper diet to treat high cholesterol and triglyceride (fats) levels in the blood. This medicine may help prevent medical problems (eg, heart attack, stroke) caused by clogged blood vessels.
PANTOPRAZOLE or SANDOZ 40mg
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes. It’s used for heartburn, acid reflux and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). GORD is when you keep getting acid reflux. It’s also taken to prevent and treat stomach ulcers.
AMITRIPTYLINE 10mg 1 in evening
Used to treat mental/mood problems such as depression. It may help improve mood and feelings of well-being, relieve anxiety and tension, help you sleep better, and increase your energy level. This medication belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. It works by affecting the balance of certain natural chemicals (neurotransmitters such as serotonin) in the brain.
ALLOPURINOL 100mg 1 x daily with or soon after food
Allopurinol is in a class of medications called xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It works by reducing the production of uric acid in the body. High levels of uric acid may cause gout attacks or kidney stones. Allopurinol is used to prevent gout attacks, not to treat them once they occur.15 Sept 2023
PALEXIA 50mg 1 x twice/day when required
Tapentadol – the active substance in PALEXIA – is a strong painkiller which belongs to the class of opioids. Used for the treatment of moderate to severe acute pain in adults that can only be adequately managed with an opioid painkiller.
MEVADOL FORTE 450/30/5MG as reqd for pain
Mevadol Forte is indicated for the short-term management of severe pain for which other treatment options have failed, are contraindicated, not tolerated or are otherwise inappropriate to provide sufficient management of pain.
TEMAZEPAN (APO) 10mg take as needed
Temazepan is a benzodiazepine (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peen). It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with sleep problems (insomnia). Used short term to treat insomnia. Works by slowing down the central nervous system (brain), causing drowsiness which helps patients fall asleep.
